Verify Connection Speeds

We need to verify your internet ports are in the exam lane and activated since we do not rely on Wi-Fi.

Verify Internet Ports Active in Exam Lanes

Using an ethernet cable, plug one end into the exam lane port and the other end into a computer or laptop. On the laptop access the internet to verify activity.

Verify Internet Speeds

Our team needs to verify your location meets the minimum upload and download internet speeds to power a remote eye exam.

To check how fast your internet connection is, perform a speed test and send 20/20NOW a screenshot of your upload and download speeds.

Take photos of your exam lane space.

Sending us images of your new exam lane will allow our team to optimize the layout for your unique space, ensuring everything is perfectly aligned for success.

Take at least 4 photos of the exam lane and any pretesting areas. These photos can be taken with a cell phone. We are looking for equipment placement, outlets, desks, permanent furniture, and general layout specs.

We’ll also need a birds eye view drawing or blue print with wall dimensions, lengths, widths of your exam space and pretesting areas.

Confirming Equipment Installation + Training Dates

Once these tasks are completed and verified your Project Manager will discuss and confirm the Installation and Training dates with you.
